Serving Suggestions:
- I love to make (and eat) glazed carrots. I typically do them on the stovetop with water, butter and honey, letting the water boil off to soften the carrots leaving behind a clingy glaze. It can be a bit finicky to get the amount of water just right for the amount of carrots so you do need to babysit the pot to make sure they don’t turn into burnt caramel carrots. I tried this Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots recipe and it came out perfect. I cut my pieces on the smaller side so I only needed about 20 of the 25 minutes. The best part was that they were hands off in the oven while I was outside grilling chicken. My daughter didn’t fight me on taking some extra bites!
- Note: If you’re wondering what an “angel hair spaghetti squash” is, it’s a smaller single-serving size of spaghetti squash. Looks like the last time John called out this specific item in a share was twice in 2022 so this may be a rare one.
